RN MEDFLIGHTS is a veteran-owned business that was founded by Major(RET) Marc Brinsley, RN, BSN, MSN, a United States Army retired nurse and combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan. Marc has an impressive career history in the medical field, having worked as a Flight Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, and Patient Movement Clinical Coordinator for the Department of Defense overseas. He has utilized his experience to provide quality care services to veterans and their families from across the United States and internationally.
With RN MEDFLIGHTS, patients receive reliable and timely medical transportation to their healthcare destinations in a cost-effective manner. The business also offers assistance to veterans who are unable to travel due to financial constraints or health conditions. All services provided by RN MEDFLIGHTS are tailored with our veteran clients’ needs in mind, from impactful veteran-led customer service to the highest quality of medical transport.

Will Smith, MD, Paramedic, FAEMS
Medical Director
Dr. Smith is an EMS and Emergency Medicine physician practicing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Washington School of Medicine. Locally, he serves as the Co-Medical Director and EMS Physician for Grand Teton National Park, Teton County Search & Rescue, Bridger Teton National Forest, and Jackson Hole Fire/EMS. Dr. Smith also serves as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps. COL Smith has practiced medicine around the world on 6 continents, from the; Baghdad ER; to Easter Island.
His combat experience combined with his pre-hospital EMS experience as a Paramedic, and his technical Search and Rescue skills have led to numerous speaking engagements at Wilderness and EMS conferences/seminars around the world. Dr. Smith has also been appointed to several national committees (American Heart Association), authored numerous book chapters and consensus guidelines on Wilderness and Rescue Medicine, and serves as a Subject Matter Expert for multiple DARPA projects.
